"A world that remembers Spider-Man, but has forgotten Peter."
A personal exploration of transformation, rebirth, and the fragile balance between Peter Parker and Spider-Man.
I'm incredibly proud to finally share my contribution to the Spider-Man: Brand New Day art campaign.
Spider-Man has been one of my favorite characters for as long as I can remember, so being invited to create artwork inspired by this iconic character was both an honor and a responsibility.
Rather than focusing purely on action, I wanted this piece to explore the emotional journey at the heart of the character: transformation, renewal, and the complex relationship between Peter Parker and Spider-Man after the events of No Way Home.
Created for SONY Pictures in collaboration with Popcore.us.
The concept revolves around the idea of rebirth.
The web structure acts both as a cocoon and a metaphor — a visual representation of a character caught between who he was and who he is becoming.
Spider-Man emerges from that cocoon, breaking forward into a new chapter, while Peter Parker remains hidden within the transformation itself. A world that still remembers Spider-Man, but has forgotten Peter.
I wanted the image to feel hopeful and energetic, while still carrying some of the emotional weight that defines this moment in the character's story.
The result is an artwork that focuses less on spectacle and more on identity, change, and renewal.
This project evolved significantly throughout the concept phase.
Early ideas explored themes of absence, memory, negative space, and duality before gradually evolving into the final composition. The final artwork combines those original ideas with a stronger focus on movement, emergence, and visual impact.
As with many of my projects, the final image is the result of numerous sketches, compositional studies, lighting explorations, and refinements before reaching its final form.
